UConn got its groove back after defeating Southern Mississippi 48-20 in Week 3 to improve to 2-1.
Now, the Huskies will turn their attention to Miami (Ohio) on Saturday in a matchup that coach Jason Candle described as a “dogfight.”

Miami is coming off a heartbreaking 35-31 loss to Cincinnati on Saturday in a game it led by 21 points at halftime.
Candle has a history of coaching against Miami, having been the RedHawks’ conference foe when he was at Toledo. In four matchups against Miami, Candle won three, including a 24-3 win last year in Oxford.
