Just lik everyone thought coming into this weekend it’s up to the Purdue football team to save us. After last night’s surprising loss to Valparaiso all our Boilermaker hopes and dreams for a good homecoming weekend hinge on the football team taking down the Terrapins. Surely they can do it….right? RIGHT?!?!? Well, we are about to find out. Kickoff is just about an hour away and I hope you’re already there.
Each time Purdue plays Maryland I think of the 2006 Champs Sports Bowl where Purdue got absolutely demolished by the Terrapins. It happened to be my best friend’s 21st birthday and we went to BWW and let’s just say a little bit too much alcohol was consumed by someone. Tough night all around. Today will be better!

This game thread, or fan discussion, will be available here on the site but also in the new SB Nation app. I used it each of this season’s games and it really did make commenting easier and clearer to follow along with. For those that use the app I hope you agree. Feel free to provide feedback so we can keep improving it.
