Arsenal head to Nottingham Forest on Sunday looking to keep their positive momentum going.
The Gunners have won five of their six Premier League games and have eight wins from nine in all competitions to start the season. Mikel Arteta’s side were made to work hard for victories at home against Leeds and Lille in the last week as their incredible squad depth has been key to their fine start across three competitions.

Forest are struggling under new manager Oliver Glasner and were beaten 3-1 at his old club Crystal Palace last weekend despite creating plenty of chances to score. They have five points from their first six games of the season, but they have given Arsenal plenty of problems in recent years. Forest have only lost once at home against the Gunners in their last six meetings at the City Ground in all competitions.
Kick off time:11:30am ET Sunday (October 18)

Liam Delap is leading the line for Forest but needs to be more clinical as chance creation hasn’t been an issue for them. They do have some key players out injured with Nikola Milenkovic, Igor Jesus and Nicolo Savona all missing. Forest have to get the balance better in their team and they need Delap, or someone else, to put away some chances early to make this uncomfortable for Arsenal.

Arteta has been rotating his squad well but he’s also been forced to do so with injuries starting to build up. William Saliba is back in light training but is still a way away from a return. Piero Hincapie and Christos Tzolis remain out and Martin Zubimendi is a doubt. Kai Havertz will lead the line with Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke likely to start on the right and left respectively. Bruno Guimaraes could also start this game alongside Declan Rice to give Arsenal’s defense a solid, energetic shield.
This feels like it’s going to be closer than most people think and there won’t be many goals. Once again Arsenal will edge it due to their amazing squad depth. Nottingham Forest 1-2 Arsenal.
