Besides the fact that many young Jets offensive players have broken out this year, including Braelon Allen, Omar Cooper Jr., and Kenyon Sadiq, New York has more draft capital in the 2027 NFL Draft than any other team in the league. With the way that the 2026 season is unfolding, the Jets could be in for a historic draft class next season.
Not only do the Jets own three first-round picks in 2027, but all three of those picks have a legitimate chance to be in the top 10 of the draft. If that happens, the Jets will make NFL history not done in the last 60 years of the draft’s existence.
Here’s a look at how the Jets are in store for a transformational draft.

After trading Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys last season, the Jets have three first-round picks in the 2027 draft. Based on the early results of the 2026 season, the Jets would own three picks in the top 10 of the draft.
New York owns the Colts’ pick, which is a coup while Indianapolis tears down its team and goes into a full rebuild. Additionally, though, the Jets own the better of the Cowboys or Green Bay Packers pick, which would currently be Dallas’ selection at No. 10 overall.
Overall, the Jets currently own picks Nos. 4, 5, and 10 in the draft, which would make them the first team to hold three top-10 picks since 1965.
