Nick Pasqual’s legal troubles continue.
The How I Met Your Mother actor was found guilty of attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend Allie Shehorn on May 8, two years after he allegedly broke into her home and stabbed her.
Following a jury trial May 8, Pasqual was also convicted of injuring a spouse or partner, first-degree burglary and rape, according to court documents reviewed by the Los Angeles Times.
The 36-year-old will be sentenced on June 2, according to the outlet, and could face a maximum sentence of life in state prison.
E! News has reached out to an attorney for Pasqual but has not heard back.
Prosecutors alleged the incident occurred in May 2024 after Pasqual broke into the Shadow Hills home of the Hollywood makeup artist, where he proceeded to stab her multiple times.
Following the incident, Pasqual allegedly then fled the scene and was detained at a border check point in Texas between the United States and Mexico, per a May 2024 press release shared by Los Angeles County authorities.
Pasqual was subsequently charged with one count of attempted murder; one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present; and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent, then Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón shared at the time, which Pasqual pleaded not guilty to.

Shehorn had filed a restraining order against Pasqual on May 20, just days before the attack. In her restraining order request obtained by E! News, Shehorn accused Pasqual of raping and choking her in April 2024, as well as hitting her with a belt in January of the same year.
After the attack, Gascón expressed his well wishes for the Shehorn, but also made a promise to her.
“My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,” he said. “Our office, including our Bureau of Victim Services, extends our support and resources to her as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from both the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her.”
“This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence,” he added. “We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.”
