Former head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mike Tomlin, has shared why he would choose Josh Allen over any other current quarterback.
The experienced coach is heading into the 2026 season working as a broadcaster following his departure from the Steelers earlier this year.

Tomlin enjoyed his 2025 season with Aaron Rodgers as his QB, but would still choose Allen over the 42-year-old.
Allen is yet to get his hands on a – or even feature in the – Super Bowl, yet he is still regarded as the best QB in the league by many.
It appears Tomlin is also firmly in this camp, with the former Steelers coach sharing exactly why he thinks Allen is the best around.
The 2026 season is an exciting one for Allen and his Buffalo Bills teammates as they head into their first season in the new Highmark Stadium.
Now 30 years of age, the pressure on Allen to actually lead his team to a Super Bowl is only mounting.

Speaking to PFF, Tomlin has admitted he’s convinced there’s no one better in the league than Allen in the quarterback position.
“It’s Josh for me, man. It just seems like he’s at his best in the most critical moments. Late in the games, he finds a way to do it, and he can do it with his arms. He can do it with his legs. He looks like not only does he want it, he needs it. He looks like he’s built for it,” said Tomlin.
