England and Croatia face off in Nations League action on Saturday, in a stadium full of children rather than fans. And the youngsters have had a bit of a laugh.
The match inside Stadion HNK Rijeka was set to be played behind closed doors due to Croatia’s supporter ban by UEFA after racist and discriminatory fan behaviour.

As such, about 6,000 schoolchildren are watching the game in person instead.
According to The Athletic, “children up to the age of 14 (duly accompanied) from schools and/or football academies [were] invited to the match free of charge.”
Ahead of kick-off, the lucky few kept the fan banter alive in the stadium by unveiling a jokey banner.
