Watch: Harry Potter’s Jessie Cave Reveals How Much She Made in First Day on OnlyFans
Welcome to the wizarding world of Jessie Cave’s OnlyFans success.
The Harry Potter alum—who portrayed Lavender Brown in the franchise’s final three films—revealed she made £15,000 after just one day of posting content on the platform.
“I’ve earned more, easily, than my entire acting career within one year,” Cave told The Times in an interview published Aug. 7. “I see people on Instagram posting bikini shots or sexy stuff and I think, ‘You could be charging for this! You’re losing money!’ I see that being the future. Everyone will be paying for everything.”
And while the child star may have pocketed quite the lump sum—which equates to just over $20,000—after just 24 hours on the subscription-based platform, she admits she was shocked to find out just how lucrative content creation could be.
“I thought I’d make five grand, be on it for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do,” Cave—mom to four kids with longtime partner Alfie Brown—said. “But it’s now been over a year and a half and it’s genuinely saved our lives.”
After all, while Cave has tried to wave her magic wand at other opportunities to support her family over the years, she’s had little success.
“I couldn’t go and, say, work in a supermarket because I can’t afford the childcare, and also I don’t want people shouting Harry Potter spells at me as I work at Tesco,” she explained. “I could retrain but I can’t afford to do a degree. I had a breakdown and I thought, ‘That’s it with acting, I give up. But also we have no money.’ It was a point of complete desperation.”
Cave launched her OnlyFans account in March 2025 to share non-sexual hair-focused content with a “slutty Mormon” vibe.

“It’s very much geared toward people who have an interest or fetish with hair,” Cave elaborated on her Before We Break Up Again podcast at the time. “I do a lot of videos with my hair on Instagram and I have now for a while. I just noticed that I always get comments.”
She added, “They’re never sexually depraved or lascivious. It’s never dirty comments, but I do get lots of interest in the hair thing and I just thought, ‘F–k it, I’m going to do something that is very niche.’”
And after more than a year creating content for the platform, the 39-year-old has stuck true to her brand.
“It is about wanting some kind of gaze. I wear baggy T-shirts onstage, I’ve never posted a bikini shot, I wear huge glasses,” she added to The Times. “For so long I’ve just been this quirky figure. After having four kids and feeling invisible for so long, that was really appealing to me.”
