Greg Rousseau blocked a game-winning field goal attempt from the Rams on Monday night.
Now he’s been named AFC special teams player of the week.
Rousseau got his hand on Harrison Mevis’ 48-yard attempt, making it the first blocked field goal in overtime that led to a win since the 2015 season. The NFL notes it’s also the fourth-latest blocked field goal in overtime since 1974.

While this is Rousseau’s first special teams player of the week, but it’s his third career player of the week award. He also won it in 2021 (Week 5) and in 2024 (Week 1) for his defense.
The Bills will be on the road to face the Raiders on Sunday.
