To achieve this, I combined weave foils, balayage and airtouch techniques. Each method plays a different role in creating dimension, adding brightness and seamlessly blending lighter pieces throughout Rachel’s brown hair. I used a silk-infused decolourizer that lifts and tones the hair in one step, creating a beautiful honey blond tone. I applied a root drop to slightly deepen the root area, which helps to create a soft transition between her natural colour and the brightened hair. The result is a multi-dimensional, soft sun-kissed colour that enhances her natural brunette base.

I shampooed Rachel’s hair with Maria Nila Structure Repair Shampoo and Conditioner to help nourish chemically treated hair, and added Maria Nila Structure Repair Leave-In Cream for added hydration and to heal split ends. Before blow drying, I sprayed Maria Nila Gloss Coat throughout her hair for heat-activated smoothing and to de-frizz. To complete her look, I curled her hair with a 1½-inch curling iron and finished the look with Maria Nila Styling Spray for a gentle and natural hold.
