We started by creating a tailored colour plan that would cover her regrowth while working carefully with the existing colour through the mid-lengths and ends. Because her hair was fine and fragile, I strategically placed balayage highlights throughout her hair using a gentle, ammonia-free decolourizer to add brightness, movement and dimension. I applied a permanent colour to her outgrowth for depth and richness and the result was beautifully blended and natural-looking.

I washed her hair using Maria Nila Structure Repair Shampoo and Conditioner to help nourish, strengthen and hydrate her dry and chemically treated hair. I wanted to show Sam how to elevate her natural beauty in a few simple steps using four easy-to-use products. To even out her complexion, I used a lightweight mineral foundation. I then naturally contoured her face with bronzing powder and swept a little over her eye lids. I then used a terracotta cream blush to the cheeks and temple area and finished with a terracotta lip gloss.
