Four persons arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a police officer at Watt Market, Calabar, Cross River State, are to be arraigned in court on Friday.
The suspects are Emem Asuquo, 40; Aniema Nelson, 40; Idara Bassey Sunday, 28; and Mercy Edet, 44.
The Cross River State Police Command said the four men were identified following preliminary investigation into the incident.
They were among 60 persons arrested yesterday and screened by the police in connection with the disturbance at the market.
