Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown received an important update on a high-profile legal situation he found himself in.
According to Austin Perry of the Fox-affiliated OutKick, Brown’s plea deal, in which he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a firearm, was accepted by Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez, and the former Steelers wide receiver will serve three years of probation as a result.

“The former Steelers wideout was sentenced to to three years of probation during which time he will have to attend weekly counseling sessions and not possess a firearm, among other conditions,” Perry wrote.
Brown, who played with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2010–2018), New England Patriots (2019), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020–2021), was arrested in connection with a May 2025 incident allegedly involving a firearm outside Adin Ross’s celebrity boxing event in Miami.
Brown was originally charged with attempted murder after police alleged that he took a firearm from security and fired two shots at a man who Brown claims he was defending himself against.
