Former Michigan State star quarterback Drew Stanton hosted his High 5ive annual charity golf outing on Friday. The 18th year of the event, the charity aims to raise funds for Special Olympics Michigan and the Children’s Miracle Network.
At the event at College Fields Golf Club in Okemos, Stanton spoke to WILX, who covered the event. Stanton talked about his alma mater, and how special he believes Michigan State is, in spite of the situation unfolding at the university.

Stanton commented on what he feels the vision of the university should be, while also acknowledging what Tom Izzo had to say on the matter, while making his own plea for unity at the administrative level of the school.
