SV Elversberg 07 has officially gone from Bundesliga newcomer to Bundesliga nightmare.
The newly promoted side produced another stunning comeback defeating Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-3 at Borussia-Park after falling behind 3-1.

Making up that kind of deficit says a lot about a team, particularly one that is supposed to be struggling to stay out of the relegation danger zone.
It is SV Elversberg 07’s second victory in as many Bundesliga matches, following its remarkable 3-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen on opening weekend.
Gladbach appeared to have taken control after Hugo Bolin scored twice and Joe Scally added another, giving the hosts a two-goal advantage. However, Elversberg refused to go away.

David Mokwa pulled one back for SV Elversberg 07 before former Bayern Munich academy product Maurice Krattenmacher helped turn the match completely on its head. Later, Felix Keidel also got on the scoresheet, and Krattenmacher delivered the knockout blow in the 92nd minute to complete an extraordinary comeback.

The victory is even more impressive considering Elversberg finished the match without head coach Vincent Wagner on the touchline after he was sent off. Somehow, that did not stop the Bundesliga newcomers from producing another fearless performance.
For Gladbach, meanwhile, the start to the season could hardly be worse. After losing 3-0 to RB Leipzig on Matchday 1, Gerardo Seoane’s team has now suffered consecutive defeats and remains without a point.
Elversberg? Six points from six.
