A familiar Alabama football face is coming back to Tuscaloosa for Alabama vs. Georgia.
Former Alabama and current Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young will be the guest picker for ESPN’s “College GameDay,” which will be in Tuscaloosa for the Crimson Tide‘s prime time bout against Georgia.

“College GameDay” will air from Coleman Coliseum with expected inclement weather from Hurricane Isaias.
Young won the Heisman Trophy at Alabama in 2021, finishing his career with 8,356 passing yards, 162 rushing yards and 87 total touchdowns. He was also on Alabama’s 2020 national championship-winning team.
Young joins former Alabama and New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath, Miss Terry – Nick Saban’s wife – and comedian Theo Von as recent “College GameDay” guest pickers representing Alabama football.
“College GameDay” airs on ESPN from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.

Alabama is scheduled to kick off against Georgia at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC.
