The Homecoming celebrations Friday night under the lights was spoiled by the visiting teams. Greensburg fell to Franklin County 30-8 and Batesville lost to Lawrenceburg 35-20.
Franklin County scored a touchdown in each quarter en route to knocking off Greensburg 30-8. The Wildcats led 6-0 after the first quarter, 13-0 at the half and 20-0 after three quarters.

For the Pirates, Levi Muckerheide passed for 89 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions and also rushed for 62 yards. Jayden Jackson-Ray rushed for 35 yards and added 17 yards receiving. Joshua Alexander rushed for 14 yards.
Ryker Martin led the Pirates with 42 yards receiving and one touchdown. Layton Henry caught two passes for 13 yards. Chance Westerfeld, Ethan Bishop and Myles McKinsey all had one reception.
Westerfeld led the Pirates’ defense with 13 total tackles. Ashton Winchester (four tackles for loss) and Logan Ortman (two tackles for loss) both finished with nine tackles. Adam Powers and Jackson-Ray both chipped in with eight tackles.
Franklin County’s Parker Gillman rushed for 250 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Christian Swartz passed for 114 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Batesville
Lawrenceburg led 14-7 after the first quarter and stretched the lead to 28-7 at the half. Batesville outscored the Tigers 13-7 in the second half, but it was not enough to overcome the first half deficit.
For the Bulldogs, quarterback Calvin Padgett passed for 144 yards and one touchdown. Zadiin Small led the ground attack with 104 yards. Dylan Shane rushed for 31 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Jake Schornick had a team-leading 63 yards receiving. Rylan Yeager added 43 yards receiving and Jackson Elston had 38 yards receiving and one touchdown.
Kaden Vogelsang led the Batesville defense with 15 total tackles. Clayton Kaiser had 10 total tackles, and Camden Kaiser added seven tackles.

North
North Decatur was the lone area team with a win. The Chargers led 21-6 at the half and added a fourth-quarter touchdown to give North a 28-6 against visiting Linton-Stockton.
Simon Barber got the scoring started with a 13-yard run. Barber added the 2-point conversion. Linton got a touchdown pass from Espn Graves to Renn Cottingham to close the first quarter.
Barber added two touchdowns in the second quarter (6 yards, 47 yards) and a 3-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to close out the win.
Barber finished with 188 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Hayden Koehen rushed for 17 yards and Matthew Fields rushed for 13 yards. Henry Kinker had three receptions. Barber and Kipton Ruf added two receptions each.

Koehne led the Chargers’ defense with 6.5 total tackles. Barber added to his big night with 5.5 tackles. Brayden Murray and Adam Whatley (three tackles for loss) both had 5.0 tackles.
South
Visiting Paoli jumped out to a 29-14 lead at the half. The Cougars clawed back with 20 second half points, but the Rams had a fourth-quarter touchdown to hold on for the 36-34 victory.
South quarterback Braxton Evans went 13-for-19 passing for 270 yards and three touchdowns.
Will Ernstes caught two passes for 60 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Aidan Bryant finished with two receptions for 57 yards and one touchdown.

Leonidas Wall added five carries for 104 yards rushing. Krystian Rigby added 57 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
Rushville
Host Centerville scored 28 first-quarter points en route to a 62-20 victory against Rushville. The Bulldogs led 48-7 at the half. Rushville added a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to close the gap.
Rushville quarterback Kai Pernell passed for 85 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, and added 66 yards rushing and one touchdown. Ryder Hatten had 17 yards on the ground and 59 yards through the air. Keegan Pavey added 12 yards rushing. Carson Ripberger and Lee Kaylor both had one reception.
Centerville quarterback Jace Hollendonner passed for 243 yards and four touchdowns. Hunter Sonntag rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns.
