At least two countries have officially been eliminated from the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
They are Puerto Rico and New Zealand.
Both teams record zero points in their respective groups after losing all their three matches in the group stage.
This follows the conclusion of Group A and B final group stage matches played on Friday.
DAILY POST reports that Nigeria defeated North Korea 3-1 in a Group B encounter, while Poland won 6-2 against Puerto Rico.
Also, Germany won against New Zealand, and Argentina thrashed host nation Morocco 5-1.
More teams are expected to be sent packing this weekend when the remaining groups will play their final group matches.
