Last July, Sophie Cunningham announced that she was starting a podcast.

A year later, and it appears the show has gone on an unannounced, indefinite hiatus.
“Show Me Something,” which Cunningham has co-hosted alongside reality TV star West Wilson, has not posted a new episode on its YouTube channel since July 21 — and fans are starting to wonder if it’s ever coming back.

The podcast’s YouTube channel boasts more than 62,000 subscribers, many of whom have followed Cunningham over from the Indiana Fever. But both Cunningham and Wilson have been fraught with personal controversies of late that appear to have put the popular show on the back-burner.
Wilson was involved in behind-the-scenes drama on the set of “Summer House,” the Bravo show in which he stars. Notably, Wilson also contradicted Cunningham directly when the Fever guard spoke out against transgender participation in women’s sports.

Cunningham has tried to walk back her controversial comments, which many have interpreted as blatant transphobia. But the remarks brought bad-faith actors like Royce Young and Enes Kanter Freedom out of the woodwork, with the former NBA players calling on the WNBA to clarify whether transgender women can play in the league.
To date, there never has been a transgender player in the WNBA. That has not stopped Young and Kanter Freedom, both cisgender males, from “declaring” for the 2027 draft. For his part, Kanter Freedom has been banned from Chicago’s Wintrust Arena following a confrontation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud.
At the moment, seems both Wilson and Cunningham have more important things to address than their podcast. And with the WNBA playoffs fast approaching, it seems unlikely that Cunningham will want any distraction from her championship chase with Indiana.
