Trayce Jackson-Davis is an All-American and Indiana basketball’s third-leading career scorer. And this weekend, he’s rooting against the Hoosiers.
National champion Indiana football opens its season against North Texas — whose quarterback just happens to be very close to Jackson-Davis.

Little brother Tayven Jackson was named the Mean Green’s QB1 last week.
“I’m definitely gonna be repping the Mean Green with my brother. It’s always family first,” Jackson-Davis said on Sam Acho’s podcast. “I have no hate against Indiana by any means, but it’s definitely gonna be a Mean Green show, and I’ll be there front and center, cheering him on.”

Both Jacksons played for Center Grove High School, with Trayce earning Mr. Basketball honors in 2019 and Tayven playing for Class 6A championship football team in 2021.

Tayven Jackson played for Tennessee in 2022, IU in ’23-24, and UCF in ’25. He has thrown for 3,451 career yards, 16 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
