The United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) will be leaning on star man Christian Pulisic to come up clutch in the World Cup later this month.

Pulisic is 27 years of age, entering what many people believe is a soccer player’s peak age. He will turn 28 in September.

The Hershey, Pennsylvania native is a versatile forward capable of playing across several different positions. The bulk of his career appearances have come as a right-winger, however.

USMNT coach Mauricio Pochettino has recently used him as a left-winger and an attacking midfielder, too.
Pulisic is currently plying his trade for one of the most storied names in the whole of soccer, Italian giants AC Milan.
During the 2025/26 season, the 27-year-old scored ten goals while registering four assists across 34 club competitions.
Pulisic has totaled 85 caps for the USMNT, scoring 33 goals while laying on 22 assists.
Only four players in the history of the USMNT – Eric Wynalda (34), Jozy Altidore (42), Landon Donovan (57) and Clint Dempsey (57) – have scored more for the US than the Milan star.

Cobi Jones (22), Michael Bradley (23) and the aforementioned Donovan (58) have produced more assists.
Pulisic has played four World Cup games (all of which came in 2022), scoring once and laying on two assists.
A club career that has taken him to Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Milan has seen Pulisic rack up the trophies.
With Dortmund, he won the DFB Pokal before a move to Chelsea saw him add the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup to his collection.
With the USMNT, he has won three CONCACAF Nations League titles.
