Watch: Barbie Ferreira Shares Surprising Truth Behind Her ‘Euphoria’ Exit After Sam Levinson Feud Rumors
It sounds like the set of Euphoria was pure bliss.
Season three actress Jessica Blair Herman recently shut down rumors of tension among the series’ cast, emphasizing that all the actors got along.
“They really did,” Jessica told Good Day NY host Rosanna Scotto on the April 27 episode. “And I’m not just saying that.”
The 39-year-old—who plays the judgy neighbor of Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi’s characters—went on to deny there was a rift between Sydney and her costar Zendaya.
“There was no drama,” Jessica continued. “Really, they’ve created this beautiful working relationship and everyone wants to do the work, to come in and do the job.”
However, she admitted that Zendaya’s Rue and Sydney’s Cassie don’t interact much onscreen.
“To be fair, when I was there, they’re not sharing scenes,” she added. “Their storylines are very separate, you’re shooting on different days and stuff.”
As for Jessica’s experience working alongside Sydney on the Sam Levinson show?
“It was great,” she explained. “I feel very lucky because working with Sam was a dream come true, and then I got on set and my first scene was with Sydney, and she’s so generous and vulnerable.”
And even when Sydney has to act in difficult scenes, Jessica said, “You sense this really beautiful, vulnerable, open heart. She’s a real artist. And I feel very lucky to have shared some scenes with her.”

Meanwhile, the show’s composer Labrinth announced his abrupt exit in March, weeks before the season three premiere, and later alluded to difficulties with the creative team behind the HBO show.
“People will comfortably lie in this industry and still call themselves honest people,” he wrote on his Instagram Story April 11, per screenshots shared by Deadline. “So no cap I decided to remove whatever music I had in it. I spoke to HBO as far as I know we are cool.”

The Emmy winner continued, “I left because, last truth, when I work for someone, their vision is paramount to me. But I don’t let people treat me like s–t.”
E! News previously reached out to HBO and Sam for comment but did not hear back.
As season three of Euphoria continues, read on to see other shows premiering soon.
