Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, has blamed a poor second half for their 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Red Devils began the game well at Stamford Bridge and saw Matheus Cunha’s effort ruled out for offside.
But Chelsea stepped it up in the second half and scored twice through Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer to win it.
“We didn’t get going second half. We should’ve been up in the first half,” Carrick told Sky Sports.
“Everything was as positive as we could’ve hoped for. We looked really dangerous.
“Found a way of unravelling in the second half. Bad goal to concede and then the penalty, we’re right up against it. The game turned on its head.”
United have now failed to win in their last 7 games in the Premier League.
