Liverpool winger, Rio Ngumoha has revealed two players he learned from following the Reds’ 2-1 win against Brentford in the Premier League at the weekend.
The 18-year-old said he has been inspired by Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Barcelona’s Anthony Gordon.
Ngumoha, who is England teammate of Saka and Gordon, described the duo as top wingers.
Speaking at his post-match interview after Liverpool defeated Brentford, Ngumoha said, “Playing on the right [wing position] was good for England, but also watching Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka, they are top wingers.”
“Training with them every day and just seeing what they do, that can really help me, and I take some of the stuff they tell me on board, and it is really helpful,” he said.
Ngumoha joined Liverpool from Premier League rival, Chelsea in 2024.
