Manchester City and Chelsea have reached a €20 million agreement for the termination of Enzo Maresca’s contract.
Maresca is now expected to travel to Manchester later on Monday to sign a three-year contract with the club.
He will replace Pep Guardiola, who stepped down at the Etihad at the end of last season.
According to Sky Sport Italia, City have agreed to pay Chelsea €20 million to buy Maresca out of his contract.
The Italian was still under contract with the Blues despite being sacked in January.
Maresca has always been the first choice to succeed Guardiola, especially as he had been his assistant manager during the 2022-23 campaign.
