The Football Association, FA, is set to hand Manchester United’s Harry Maguire an additional one-match ban.
This means he can’t play in the upcoming Premier League match against Chelsea.
The FA has decided to keep his punishment for swearing at a fourth official.
Maguire was sent off against Bournemouth, which ruled him out of the 2-1 defeat to Leeds at Old Trafford on Monday.
The Daily Mail reports that he’s now facing an extra suspension, which would pose a huge problem for manager Michael Carrick.
Martinez was also red-carded against Leeds and will miss three games, leaving teenagers Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven as the available centre-backs.
