English actress and model Elizabeth Hurley is lending her star power to a longtime Canadian clothing company.

In a new campaign for the brand Joseph Ribkoff, Hurley sports a selection of garments from the Montreal-headquartered company’s new contemporary collection called Edit 57. Shot in New York, the fall ‘Icons’ campaign sees the star styled in a satin, multicolour dress, fringe faux leather skirt and other assorted styles.

The Austin Powers actress notes the designs in the range are a natural fit for her existing wardrobe.

“The Icons Capsule has a fresh energy, beautiful tailoring, effortless styling and pieces you immediately want to make your own,” Hurley said in a news release. “It feels modern without losing the elegance Joseph Ribkoff is known for, and that’s what made this collection feel so authentic to me.”

The new Edit 57 collection represents a more “fashion-forward and modern expression” of the nearly 70-year-old homegrown brand, according to Belfer.
