Florida State doesn’t have any wide receivers committed in its 2027 recruiting class at the moment. However, they have plenty of targets, and one of them is blue-chip prospect Anthony Jennings out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He was offered a scholarship by the Seminoles back in January of 2025. Although Jennings hasn’t been on campus for a visit up until this point, FSU has positioned itself well in his recruitment as they are in his top five schools according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers, Syracuse Orange, and Maryland Terrapins are the other four schools at the top for Jennings. At the moment, the Gators are the team to beat when it comes to landing the 6-foot, 165-pounder.
Jennings is the nation’s No. 291 overall player and the No. 44 wide receiver in the country per the Rivals industry rankings. He’s also the No. 26 prospect in the state of Florida.
In eight games as a junior, Jennings was extremely productive at Dillard High School. He caught 34 passes for 823 yards (24.2 yards per catch) and scored 11 touchdowns. He’s caught 55 passes for 1,389 yards and scored 19 touchdowns while averaging 25.3 yards per catch over the last two seasons.
