E! chatted exclusively with the Descendants actress at the collection launch in Los Angeles, where she revealed everything from her skin type to what makes her truly glow from within, and so much more. And we can attest that her glowy skin had her looking absolutely ethereal!
“I have combination skin, definitely, but I figured out too late in my life that I actually also have very sensitive skin. For a long time I didn’t do anything to change up my routine, and then I did too too much, and that was when I was like ‘oh, I really messed up my skin barrier,’ ” she shared.
The entire collection (which you can purchase as a set) is formulated to support a healthy, hydrated glow, with weightless & layerable skincare formulas that work together to leave your skin looking and feeling luminous. Themed around a snake motif inspired by the actress’ tattoos, it represents her continued commitment to evolution.
Dove’s Quest for a Hydrating Cleanser
“I’m combination/sensitive, leaning towards dry,” Dove added of her skin. So it’s no surprise that she was on the hunt for the perfect foaming cleanser that cleanses her skin without leaving her feeling dry after traveling or hours in the makeup chair.
“I really wanted a foaming wash, it’s been my holy grail product that I was searching for, that didn’t make me feel like my skin would crack if I smiled,” she added.
