Trumpeter Miles Davis was one of the most important jazz musicians of all time. Active over many decades, the late musician moved through changes in styles, formats and more making music with his own distinct signature along the way. There are four special concerts devoted to specific eras in this titan’s sonic history planned, beginning May 3 at the Hollywood with a show dedicated to the music of Miles Davis and Gil Events, featuring the Vancouver Jazz Orchestra with special guest Chris Davis.
