The naira appreciated against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market to end the week on a positive note.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the naira strengthened to N1,331.19 per dollar on Friday, compared with N1,332.10 recorded on Thursday.
This means that, on a day-to-day basis, the naira gained N0.91 against the dollar.
Meanwhile, at the parallel market, the naira remained unchanged at N1,385 per dollar on Friday, the same rate recorded the previous day.
