The Federal Commissioner representing Cross River State at the National Population Commission, NPC, Bishop Alex Ukam, has said that the death of the chairman of the National Population Commission, Dr Aminu Yusuf, is particularly painful because he had lofty plans and aspirations for the Commission.
In a tribute, Ukam described the chairman’s death as a rude shock to him as a person and the Commission in general.
Ukam said Yusuf’s death came as a surprise because the NPC chairman was full of life and had shown strong commitment to advancing the affairs of the Commission.
He commiserated with Yusuf’s family, the management and staff of the NPC, describing the late chairman as an impactful leader and a team player who demonstrated goodwill, love, care and support to his colleagues.
