A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayekooto Akindele and Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, have reacted to the alleged endorsement of Seyi Makinde by Peter Obi, the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate.
DAILY POST had reported that the former governor of Anambra State attended the inauguration of the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, Seyi Makinde, in Abuja on Monday.
In a video clip currently making the rounds, Peter Obi publicly declared that Makinde of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, is qualified to be Nigeria’s President.
According to netizens, Obi’s comment signalled his approval for the Oyo State Governor to succeed President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
