It’s not too often that a team releases renderings for a stadium and has fans actually liking what they saw. But the Washington Commanders‘ new D.C. stadium project very much appears to be that.
The interior doesn’t disappoint either.

Back in January, the Commanders released renderings for the planned $3.7 billion stadium. And the exterior design for the domed venue almost perfectly captured the D.C. aesthetic. On Wednesday, fans were given a first look at the stadium bowl’s renderings, and the Commanders really could be heading to the league’s best stadium when the project is completed.
The latest renderings were courtesy of the Dallas-based architecture firm HKS, which was behind SoFi Stadium’s design. There are similar elements, but it does look like a decidedly different stadium.
