As part of our training camp preview, we’ll be highlighting one player from each position group to keep your eyes on. In some instances, it may be one of the Colts‘ top players that we’ll be watching closely, or it could be a player fighting for playing time or a roster spot.

Up next is the offensive line.
Travis will be stepping into a full-time starting role this season, taking over at right tackle for Braden Smith, who signed with the Houston Texans this offseason.
Travis does have some starts under his belt, filling in late last season. In those games, he allowed one sack and 12 pressures over 175 pass-blocking snaps. He also graded out well as a run-blocker by PFF’s metrics.
When it comes to offensive line play, the sum of this group is greater than any one or two players individually. So Travis’ ability to hit the ground running will determine how good this unit can be overall.

Success for any offense begins with the offensive line unit providing a run game to lean on and time in the pocket for the quarterback.
