Well, now you have. That’s what Collin Johnson is doing.
Johnson played wide receiver in parts of four seasons in the NFL. Now he’s heading to the MIT Sloan School of Management.

This is really just a fantastic story.
Johnson is a 6-foot-5 wide receiver originally from Los Angeles who played his college football for the Texas Longhorns.
The Jacksonville Jaguars made him a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he played 14 games for the Jags, catching 18 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns.
Johnson joined the New York Giants for 2021 and had 11 catches for 105 yards.

Between 2023 and 2024, he suited up in 12 games for the Chicago Bears and caught a pair of passes for 17 yards.
Johnson joined the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2025 offseason but was cut at the end of training camp. He didn’t sign with another team during the season, and now he’s moving on to the next chapter of his life.
The 28-year old Johnson clearly has a bright future ahead of him.
