Watch: Chris Pratt Shares His Relatable Halloween Parenting Challenge
Chris Pratt is getting ready for a fa-boo-lous Halloween.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star revealed that while he and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger are busy prepping for the holiday with their kids Lyla, 6, Eloise, 4, and Ford, 23 months—as well as his and ex Anna Faris’ son Jack, 14—he’s still not sure what marvelous costumes his brood will wear.
“I could give you an answer today, and it would not be the right answer,” Pratt exclusively told E! News’ Will Marfuggiduring a joint interview with hisTerminal List costar Constance Wu, “because they’re constantly changing their minds.”
Planning gets especially complicated because, according to the 47-year-old, his “kids dress up all the time,” adding that Lyla and Eloise have been running around the house in matching purple space cadet costumes.
“They’re like NASA astronauts with rockets on their back,” he said. “But then they’ve been wearing that so much that I’m not sure they’re going to actually wear that for Halloween.”
As for the boys? The Parks and Recreation alum shared that Ford is sticking with the autumnal vibes and dressing up as a pumpkin, while Jack plans to throw it back to the Seattle Supersonics—now the Oklahoma City Thunder—with a classic Supersonics jersey.
Wu could certainly relate to his Halloween parenting struggles, laughing that her and partner Ryan Kattner’s kids—a 6-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son—are also changing their minds about their costumes.

“My son has been saying he wants to be a ghost,” the 44-year-old told E!, “but then yesterday out of nowhere he says, ‘I want to be Bluey.’”
As for her daughter, since she is not a fan of the spooky vibes, she wants to jump into the look of her favorite musician: Rosé from Blackpink.
“She loves Blackpink,” Wu exclaimed. “She really wants to be her, so she’s trying to get that platinum blonde wig.”

And with season two of TheTerminal List headed to the small screen, chances are high fans will be dressing up as their characters James Reece and Katie Buranek for Halloween. Although, Pratt was quick to note that the show has done its best to keep their characters more grounded.
“This is a little different than your typical action show because we really are tethering it to reality,” he explained. “We’re trying really hard to make James Reece not a superhero. He’s a guy who’s got a great skill set and can get out of difficult situations, but he’s not immortal.”
Season two of The Terminal List premieres on Prime Video Oct. 21, with all eight episodes dropping at the same time.
