This week, the Kansas City Chiefs revealed the first footage of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes participating in offseason workouts with his teammates at OTAs.
Mahomes, who is recovering from a serious knee injury he sustained during Kansas City‘s 2025 regular-season campaign, could be seen taking a snap, dropping back into a simulated pocket, and throwing a dart to one of the Chiefs’ pass-catchers during practice.

While a non-contact practice session is hardly a substitute for live-action 11-on-11 football, Kansas City’s fans should be reassured by the three-time Super Bowl champions’ return to the gridiron.
