Bryson DeChambeau’s future with LIV Golf is very much up in the air right now.
DeChambeau, like so many other golfers on LIV, doesn’t actually know where he will be playing next season.
After Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund withdrew their funding from LIV Golf this year, the league are set to seriously scale down their operations.

Will Bryson DeChambeau really be interested in playing on such a watered down version of LIV Golf in 2027 and beyond?
Will the two-time major champion be eyeing up a return to the PGA Tour? Or does he have another plan up his sleeve?
It has been claimed that Bryson DeChambeau is still very much undecided on his future, as he continues to weigh up what he actually wants to do moving forward.
A direct route back to the PGA Tour may not be possible after he turned down their offer in January of this year.
Meanwhile, it’s hard to imagine that LIV Golf on a smaller scale with decreased purses will be enough to get the American’s juices flowing.

So could DeChambeau be eyeing up a completely different alternative to both LIV and the PGA Tour moving forward?
DeChambeau’s content creation has seriously ramped up over the past few weeks.
The 33-year-old started ‘Bryson’s Backyard Games’ series in September, giving numerous content creators the chance to win $100,000.
It was noticeable during the series, which was posted to his official X account, just how much DeChambeau loves the content creation side of things.
He looks far happier producing content for his fans than he does competing in golf tournaments.

If Bryson DeChambeau is genuinely happy when he’s creating content, as he seems to be, is there any reason why he would not choose to do that full-time moving forward?
If LIV Golf really does scale down in the manner that has been suggested, and there is no simple route for him back to the PGA Tour, DeChambeau could easily opt to focus purely on his YouTube channel.
It just feels like the two-time US Open champion’s personality is far more suited to engaging with fans and fellow content creators than actually competing in tournaments.
He clearly has a lot of fun away from the golf course, and the main point of life is being happy, right? The 33-year-old clearly finds huge satisfaction in providing content for the millions of people who follow him online.

Who knows, DeChambeau may well decide to split his time next year between playing competitively and creating content, much like he has done over the past couple of years.
However, DeChambeau focusing purely on his YouTube channel and not playing any competitive golf is not as unrealistic as some people may think it is.
