Going into the 2026 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos have no competition on the roster for their three incumbent specialists. That might change before training camp.
Wil Lutz returns as the team’s kicker, and he seems unlikely to be seriously challenged, but the Broncos could bring in a camp leg. Denver might also consider adding an undrafted punter to push Jeremy Crawshaw this summer.

Marvin Mims has earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl recognition as a returner, but if the Broncos want to increase his role on offense, some of his return duties might be divvied up to other players.
The position that seems most likely to draw challengers is long snapper. Mitchell Fraboni still has two years left on his contract, but Denver has been scouting long snappers leading up to the draft. It wouldn’t be shocking to see the Broncos add a UDFA long snapper following the draft.

Note that — while likely accurate at the moment — this is a projected special teams depth chart from Broncos Wire, not an official depth chart from the club. Denver won’t be required to release an official depth chart until preseason begins this summer.
