Brock Bowers‘ spectacular 2026 season debut was noticed by the NFL as Wednesday he was awarded the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Bowers had 10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown as the Raiders improved to 3-0 in a 35-27 win at the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. It was the first such award for Bowers, a 2024 first-round draft pick.

Bowers missed the first two games of the season after having knee surgery. But he loudly announced his 2026 presence in New Orleans and it was an eye-opening debut in the offensive new Las Vegas head coach Klint Kubiak.
Kubiak used Bowers all over the field, often at wide receiver. The results were immediate and this award caps a great debut.
In Week 2, Raiders’ rookie cornerback Zeke Masses was named the AFC Defensive Player pf the Week after he had two interceptions in a win over the Chargers .This is the third time since the NFL debuted player of the week awards in 1984 that the Raiders won twice in the first three weeks of the season and the first since 2021, the last time they finished with a winning record.
