Watch: Brian Austin Green Says He Led With “Physical Attraction” in Megan Fox Marriage
Brian Austin Green‘s sex life looks a little different these days.
The Beverly Hills 90210 alum opened up about how his body has evolved over the years when it comes to engaging in intimacy.
“Honestly, absolutely, sex drive lowers. There’s no way to avoid that. I didn’t ask for it.” Green, who has been engaged to Dancing With the Stars pro Sharna Burgess since 2023, shared during an Aug. 29 episode of the I Do, Part 2 podcast. “That is a chemical thing. That is testosterone. That is what men, as they age, start naturally losing.”
Indeed, the 53-year-old’s fellow guest cohost, Bob Guiney, 55, related to Green’s experience given his age-gap marriage to Jessica Canyon, 42.
“I am married to someone younger,” the Bachelor alum shared. “Part of me making sure that I am there for her in the ways that she needs me to be as well, you can’t just sit on the couch all the time and expect to be the guy that’s ready to go.”
Still, the new chapter of Green’s sex life also has a positive side, he realized, when considering how the emotional connection now plays a large role in getting physical with his partner.
“It’s not just the physical act the same way,” the Desperate Housewives star said. “There’s emotion to it too.”
And beyond conversations about sex life, Green noted the importance of honesty in his relationship with Burgess, with whom he shares 4-year-old son Zane.
“My fiancée now is…we started very early with that understanding of we’ll talk about everything,” Green explained. “So there is no unknown if she’s feeling a certain way or I’m feeling a certain way.”
The revelation followed similar sentiments the dad of five—who also shares son Kassius, 24, with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil and kids Noah, 13, Bodhi, 12 and Journey, 9, with ex-wife Megan Fox—detailed on a July 12 episode of I Do, Part 2, when he confessed he “led with physical attraction” during his 15-year relationship with Fox.

As such, he had a suggestion for how older men can work through challenges if they have a younger partner and “she’s not getting what she needs.”
“You can take supplements, and you can go the opposite direction.” Green advised of how to counteract testosterone loss, joking, “Pop the supplement. You’ll be ready to go.”
And Green has remained mindful of his health over the years, especially after experiencing a frightening neurological condition that began when he was “39, 40” years old that took him years to recover from.
“It was like stroke-like symptoms,” Green said on the Really Famous podcast. “My brain and my body completely disconnected.”
Green isn’t the only star to candidly detail their experiences in the bedroom. Read on for more stars’ sex confessions.
