The Atlanta Braves announced Tuesday that they have selected the contract of right-hander Elieser Hernández and optioned left-hander Connor Thomas to Triple-A Gwinnett.
The move comes after Monday’s game, where Thomas gave up 11 earned runs in just 2.2 innings against the New York Mets. Hernández is back with Atlanta after appearing for the club last week, as he continues to bounce between the Braves and Triple-A Gwinnett as a bullpen depth option.
