Watch: Brandi Glanville Shares She Has a Benign Tumor in Her Face
Brandi Glanville is getting real about her health battle.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum—who has been struggling with facial parasites—shared a candid look at her treatment, including the 18-hour IV regimen that she said has made her “so skinny right now.”
“I can’t eat because the things I do decreases my food,” Glanville said as she prepared her daily IV infusions in a Sept. 6 Instagram video. “I feel like death. I look like death.”
According to the 53-year-old, one of the IV she takes is Imipenum, an antibiotic commonly used in conjunction with Cilastatin to treat severe bacterial infections.
“I had to learn to do all these with the nurse,” she continued as she detached an IV bag from a portable pump. “Now, she comes four hours a day in the evenings to do my other IV, but I have to do this IV before she comes for the 4-hour IV.”
“I start this at 4 o’clock—the Imipenum—and I have that overnight,” Glanville added. “Eighteen hours a day. It’s a lot of setup.”
That’s why the reality star said in a Sept. 7 follow-up video that the “only time I leave my house is to do my podcast.”
“I want to cut my face open and just take it out,” continued Glanville, who was diagnosed with a benign tumor on a lymph node in her face. “But can’t do that, so now I have to start my IVs.”
She added in the caption of her post, “I never thought this would become my life. A PICC line. Hours of IV medication. And still fighting to get whatever is in my face OUT.”
“I know everyone wants to know exactly what I’m dealing with. I’m not ready to share that part just yet,” she wrote. “But I am ready to start showing you what it’s taken to get here.”

Indeed, Glanville—mom to sons Mason Cibrian, 23, and Jake Cibrian, 19, with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian—has been battling her facial parasites for a while. As she put it in a June episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, “It’s been a long three years.”
“I just want to put a ton of makeup on again, get my hair extensions,” she shared. “I want to have a glow-up.”
Glanville believes her condition was caused by her previous breast implants, which she told TMZ in February had “completely ruptured” before they were removed.
“I had silicone all over my lymph nodes,” she explained. “That’s what caused the infection in my face and couldn’t get out because my lymph nodes were all clogged.”
