Watch: Brandi Glanville Debuts New Look From Plastic Surgeon After Facial Parasite
Brandi Glanville played this home remedy a little too much by ear.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed that during Easter weekend, she ended up seeking out medical attention after an alleged health hack to rid herself of a head cold left her with a piece of garlic stuck in her ear.
“On Easter, I didn’t do anything because of my garlic in my ear,” she said on the most recent episode of her Unfiltered podcast. “Every time I tried to get it out, it really went down further. And I had to go to urgent care the next day and get it taken out.”
As for how Brandi ended up in this predicament, she blamed her and her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian’s 18-year-old son Jake for giving her the cold, and their 22-year-old Mason for planting the garlic idea in her ear—er, head.
“Listen, Mason also said when he had a cold, he put it in his nostril and it helped him,” Brandi explained. “I tried my nostril, it was burning too much, so I moved it to my ear. It was like burning my skin ‘cause I just lasered it.”
“I was just trying to clear my sinuses,” the 53-year-old said in her defense, though she cautioned her listeners, “Don’t listen to people online or Tik Tok or Instagram or Twitter or Facebook.”
After all, as she added, “I have garlic in my brain now.”

This is not the first time the reality star has been candid about her health struggles. Since 2023, Brandi had kept fans apprised of an ongoing battle with an infection on her face, which she said was cause by a facial parasite.
But while the origin of the parasite alluded her throughout that time, in February Brandi said the issue had been caused by her ruptured breast implants.
“I had silicone all over my lymph nodes,” she told TMZ Feb. 18. “And that’s what caused the infection in my face and couldn’t get out because my lymph nodes were all clogged.”

Learning her implants had ruptured came as a surprise.
“I definitely had a parasite and then I was shocked because, I mean, honestly, my implants I’ve had for 20 years almost,” she explained. “They looked fine. They felt fine. The mammogram said they were fine. It wasn’t until I had a sonagram.”
“I was just feeling like, ‘Maybe just check that, too. Why not?’” she added. “I mean, I’ve checked everything else. I went to 21 doctors. And I spent so much money.”
The podcaster hopes, however, that her experience can help others.
“You really should change your breast implants out at ten years,” she cautioned. “And I just didn’t do it. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. So, I learned a really, really hard lesson.”
