As we get deeper into the offseason and teams start hitting the field more, we’ll start getting more looks at the new crop of Cincinnati Bengals. In particular, we’ll get a chance to see the undrafted rookies the Bengals brought on and see who has a chance to make some noise and potentially crack the 53-man roster in Week 1.
Last season, defensive tackle Howard Cross III and long snapper William Wagner made the climb from undrafted free agent to the active roster. Who has a chance to do that this season? Here are three names to watch as we get to OTAs.

Jones certainly brings a lot of length to the table. He measures six-foot-nine and 349 pounds and has massive 36 3/4-inch arms and a wingspan of almost 89 inches. He has experience playing both tackle and guard. The Bengals must like what they see in Jones and think they can develop him into something. They gave him a $50,000 signing bonus, which is nothing to sneeze at as an undrafted free agent.
Gentry is an intriguing prospect. He has unique size for a linebacker, particularly for him being six-foot-seven. He also has a wingspan of about 86 inches. He can be deployed in a number of ways, whether that’s at inside linebacker, on the edge or even as a nickel linebacker.

Gentry led the Trojans with four forced fumbles in 2025 and added 75 tackles and seven tackles for a loss under defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn (who has since become Penn State’s defensive coordinator under new head coach Matt Campbell). It will be interesting to see how the Bengals view him and where they line him up. That alone makes him one of the more intriguing storylines heading into the summer.
Not only did Dingle play his college ball at Cincinnati, but so did his father, Nate, from 1990-1993, as well as his brother, Jacob, from 2019-2022. Dingle brings good size (6-4, 235), good speed and good tackling ability. He’ll have a chance to carve out a role for Darrin Simmons on special teams.
