Watch: Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor Share Special Met Gala Date Night for First Time in 10 Years
Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor are sporting fashion.
The Zoolander actor and his wife shared a special date night at the 2026 Met Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art May 4, marking their first time at the event in a decade.
For the “Fashion is Art” dress code, Christine donned a strapless blue A-line gown by Bibhu Mohapatra complete with beaded floral embellishments. She complemented the look with earrings, rings and a bracelet from Nini jewelry.
For his part, Ben donned a sleep black suit with an orange tie. (See all the celebrities at the event here.)
The pair’s looks could have been a nod to the actor’s favorite basketball team, who are facing off against the Philadelphia 76ers during the Met Gala.
“The Knicks are playing better than they’ve ever played,” Ben told USA Today at the event. “It feels like our year.”
The 60-year-old added, “Right now I wish I was at Madison Square Garden, but it’s wonderful to be here, too.”
The couple—who tied the knot in 2000 after meeting the year before—last attended the Met Gala in 2016, which focused on fashion in an age of technology.
But Ben’s focus has always been on his relationship with Christine.
“Our shared sense of humor is the key to our off-screen relationship,” he told People in October. “When you’re with somebody for many years, and you go through the ups and downs of life, a sense of humor is just the most important thing, being able to laugh together and want to hang out together.”
Plus, Ben is grateful when he gets to work with Christine, too.
“When we work on screen together, it’s the same thing,” he added. “She really makes me laugh.”
