American rapper Karim Kharbouch popularly known as French Montana has shared the “biggest lesson” fatherhood has taught him.
Speaking in a recent interview with Capital Xtral London, the ‘Unforgettable’ hitmaker said being a father comes with a lot of financial responsibilities.
Montana, who shares a son with his estranged wife Deen Kharbouch, said apart from paying for child support, men also pay their partners and baby mamas.
He advised young men not to have children until they are financially stable.
He said, “The biggest lesson that fatherhood has taught me is that you will pay for a lot of things; feeding, school fees, and whole lot of other things. You will even pay the mother of your child.
“If you don’t have money to pay, don’t have a kid. It is better to wait until you are financially stable.”
The rapper is reportedly expecting another child with his fiancee, Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
