Bayonne Little League is set to make their first appearance in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on Wednesday night.
Representing the Metro Region, Bayonne will take on Bridgewater Little League out of Bridgewater Massachusetts, who represent the New England Region.

The winner of this matchup will move on to face East Side Little League — the Mid-Atlantic representatives — from West Chester, Pennsylvania in the next round on Friday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. from Lamade Stadium in Williamsport.
With the Little League World Series being double elimination, the loser of tonight’s game is not done yet, but they would move to the losers bracket where they’d face either West Side Little League (Great Lakes Region) from Hamilton, Ohio or Paseo Verde Little League (Mountain Region) from Henderson, Nevada on Saturday, Aug. 22 with the loser of that matchup officially being eliminated from the LLWS.
