Bayern are dealing with several injury and fitness concerns ahead of the match.
Christian Falk has informed CFBayern Insider that Manuel Neuer will not be available for Bayern’s away Bundesliga fixture against Freiburg.
The Bayern skipper will sit out the match due to persistent tendon irritation in his foot.
Falk said: “His foot appears to remain a weak point for Manuel Neuer; we recall that he previously suffered a serious foot injury.

“This makes it all the more important to have a successor like Jonas Urbig already within the club’s ranks. We have heard that he was promised 25 competitive appearances this season as part of a transition period—a number that could now even increase, given the issues with Neuer’s foot.”
The Bavarian giants could also be without Vincent Kompany in the dugout for this game.
Kompany required medical attention on Friday after collapsing during a training session involving Bayern’s reserve team.
The first-team head coach had been observing the second team’s session when the incident occurred.

Kompany is currently undergoing a thorough examination in hospital and will remain under medical care, with his coaching staff overseeing all training and match-related operations in the meantime.
Luis Diaz also picked up an injury during Bayern’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Champions League and is expected to be out for at least a few weeks.
Bayern will also be without their influential midfielder Joshua Kimmich, who has been granted compassionate leave following the death of his father.
Kimmich has yet to return to Bayern training.

Jonas Urbig is a highly talented goalkeeper, and Bayern have full confidence in his abilities, believing he has the potential to become the club’s first-choice goalkeeper in the future.
Urbig is likely to start in goal, while Tom Bischof should feature in midfield alongside Aleksandar Pavlovic.
Bayern have drawn two away games this season, and Freiburg could pose a stern test given their impressive form.
